This is Lois’ second journal in poetry form covering a year of observations and simple ideas about life and nature. When the first journal was finished, Lois continued to write, using ordinary, simple ideas others might only note in passing, and embracing her own realization that putting observations into word form, creates word pictures, something others could relate to. As readers enter her world they find humor, next to deep observations about life, simple descriptions of birds in her yard she interacts with daily, along with the voice of someone working to find meaning. The poems are presented in the order they were written, by month, through a year and are illustrated with pen and ink drawings by the author.
